BACKGROUND MATERIAL
Patrick Lang is a Doctor, who joined Starfleet after his
sister and brother died while serving together on the same ship. He felt that he
owed it to their memory, even though his parents, worrying about him highly discouraged
it. Lang was a Doctor in Chicago on earth for one and a half years, and has gained
much experience there. He is now one of the two Doctors on the Thunderchild.
